Recently, many games with thousands of soldiers and set in the Middle Ages have been released. Kingmakers is among these titles that have quickly become popular on Steam. The game’s new trailer reveals the use of new generation weapons in battles 500 years ago.
Kingmakers trailer released
Kingmakers, developed by Redemption Road Games and to be published by tinyBuild, made a big noise with its first announcement. Bringing a new interpretation to the medieval strategy genre, the game makes it possible to use modern weapons in old generation battles.
Set in the Middle Ages, instead of commanding armies of knights and infantry, Kingmakers takes a team of elite agents 500 years into the past. Players will use new technologies to prevent an apocalypse in the old world.
Kingmakers features new generation weapons such as shotguns and sniper rifles. It will also be possible to escalate battles with vehicles and air support, such as trucks, attack helicopters and callable airstrikes. For example, the trailer shows a scene of a player killing medieval armies with a modern assault rifle.
As well as solo play, there is a co-op experience with up to three players, each taking control of their own army. You’ll lead armies of thousands of soldiers in the game.
Kingmakers is planned to enter early access on Steam later this year and will be released very soon. The price of the game is not known for now. However, it seems to appeal to those who love action and adventure.
